This is quite fantastic because it adds a lot of options to sound scapes; however, if you are just starting to get a few pedals and are in the early phase of effects exploration, the choices can be overwhelming.

When 6 Inches is Too Long and Shorter is Better
6" patch cords are fine for most quick connections, however, if you have more than a few pedals and plan to move your board to rehearsal or a gig there are gonna be issues. We share a shorter cable and dealer tip of the day for those of you with 6" cable problems.

The Day before the current Mr. Big Tour, Ted McCann met with Paul Gilbert to put solderless connectors to the test. Using a combination of SLUG and .44 Chrome Connectors and bulk cable, they were able to clean up the board and help Paul clean up his tone.
